透過理論及個案教學,讓學生對跨國企業的運作有充分的瞭解,並熟悉全球化、全球政治與文化環境、海外直接投資、國際企業策略、國際企業組織、海外市場進入策略、全球生產與外包、全球行銷、及全球人力資源管理。美國市調機構「商業圓桌會議」曾在2009年進行企業研究,當時美國儘管正處金融危機、陷入衰退谷底,但仍有61%的企業表示「找不到理想員工」。報告指出,業界認為新一代員工並不乏專業能力,反倒在溝通技巧與獨立思考上最顯欠缺。
針對業界意見,美國各大學院校近期也陸續推動教學改良計畫。以喬治華盛頓大學為例,2011年開始即納入邏輯訓練於課程評量中。哈佛大學與麻省理工學院也針對部分學程調整、並分散講課的時數,而將學生之間的討論課程增長,以訓練學生研究邏輯與溝通能力。更有商學院將各式課程整合起來,結合會計、管理、行銷的綜合式課綱,整合出更符合職場運用的教學模式。Through theory and plan teaching, students can have a full understanding of the operations of cross-border enterprises, and be familiar with globalization, global politics and cultural environment, overseas direct investment, international corporate strategies, international corporate organizations, overseas market entry strategies, global production and outsourcing, global marketing, and global human resources management. The report pointed out that the industry believes that the new generation of employees does not lack professional ability, but rather lacks communication skills and independent thinking.
In view of the industry, major universities in the United States have also recently promoted teaching improvement plans. Taking George Washington University as an example, it was included in the logical training in the course evaluation since 2011. Harvard University and MIT also adjust and distribute the lecture time to some courses, and increase the discussion courses between students to train students in research on logic and communication skills. There are also business schools that integrate various courses to combine comprehensive courses of programming, management and marketing to integrate teaching models that are more in line with the use of the job.
