教育目標 Course Target

細胞的電生理活性由細胞膜表面離子通道之活動產生。舉例而言,在神經和肌肉細胞中離子通道具有引發、傳遞和中止電氣活性的功能。在其它非興奮性細胞中,離子通道也調控了許多關鍵的生理過程,例如:腎小管上水份的再吸收,胰島素自胰島腺體中的釋放,卵子受精的過程,以及免疫細胞的發育。本課程的目標在於透過研究文獻的閱讀,小組討論,以及實驗的操作,使學生逐漸具備獨立操作儀器設備的能力,以及獲取與離子通道研究相關領域中,最新的生理學,病理學,轉譯醫學的基礎知識,以養成細胞電生理基礎研究的能力。 課程概述: 本課程透過原文期刊文獻的閱讀,小組討論,以及實驗的操作,訓練碩博士班以及大學部高年級學生吸收最新專業領域知識的能力及技巧。此外並在動手從事研究的過程中,培養獨立操作儀器設備的能力,分析實驗數據的方法,以期未來成為細胞電生理研究相關領域之專業人員。The electrophysiological activity of cells is generated by the activity of ion channels on the cell membrane surface. For example, ion channels function to initiate, transmit, and terminate electrical activity in nerve and muscle cells. In other non-excitable cells, ion channels also regulate many key physiological processes, such as the reabsorption of water in the renal tubules, the release of insulin from the pancreatic islet glands, the fertilization of eggs, and the development of immune cells. The goal of this course is to enable students to gradually acquire the ability to independently operate instruments and equipment through reading research literature, group discussions, and operating experiments, as well as to acquire the latest physiology, pathology, and translational medicine in the fields related to ion channel research. Basic knowledge to develop the ability to conduct basic research on cell electrophysiology. Course Overview: This course trains senior students in master's and doctoral programs as well as undergraduate students to acquire the ability and skills to absorb the latest knowledge in professional fields through the reading of original journal documents, group discussions, and the operation of experiments. In addition, during the hands-on research process, students will develop the ability to independently operate instruments and equipment and analyze experimental data, with the aim of becoming a professional in the field of cell electrophysiology research in the future.
