在大乘佛學的理論中,闡揚空性與智慧為核心義理的《般若經》佔有相當重要的地位。在龐大的《般若經》文獻中,包含了許多佛教哲學重要的內涵與議題,若能把握《般若經》的哲學內涵,對探究大乘佛學的理路而言,可說是奠定了相當良好的基礎。
本課程規劃為一學期的課程。課程將初步從早期佛教、部派佛教到初期大乘的「空」義做深入淺出的研析,接著在龐大的《般若經》文獻中,選擇常見的《心經》、《金剛經》、《八千頌般若經》與《兩萬五千頌般若經》等文本,引導學生們循序漸進地進行地毯式的閱讀,養成把握「空性」與「般若」之哲學理論的能力,而後進一步思考「空性」與「般若」在實踐哲學上的意味。
此外,獨立閱讀與詮釋原典之能力的培養更是本課程的重要目標,因此教師將引導同學研讀所選擇之《般若經》文本,期能透過這樣的訓練養成同學們獨立閱讀與研究的能力。綜合以上,本課程每個課題的規劃與研討均包含:初步理解、深入討論以及引導學生獨立閱讀與詮釋相關的原典與文本等三個部份,希望藉由這樣的訓練,培養學生的批判思考與獨立研究能力。In the theory of Mahayana Buddhism, the "Prajna Paramita" with emptiness and wisdom as its core principles plays a very important position. The great text of "Prajnaparamita" contains many important connotations and discussions of Buddhist philosophy. If you can grasp the philosophical connotations of "Prajnaparamita", it can be said that it has laid a very good foundation for exploring the principles of Mahayana Buddhism.
This course is planned for a course in one academic period. The course will conduct in-depth and pure analysis from early Buddhism, sectarian Buddhism to the early Mahayana "emptiness". Then, in the great "Prajna" text, we select common texts such as "Mind Heart", "Golden Sword", "Eight Thousand Prajna" and "Twenty Thousand Five Thousand Prajna" to guide students to read in a carpet-like manner in a philosophical way, and cultivate the ability to grasp the philosophical theory of "emptiness" and "Prajna", and then further think about the meaning of "emptiness" and "Prajna" in practical philosophy.
In addition, cultivating the ability to read and interpret the original text is an important goal of this course. Therefore, the teacher will guide the text of "Prajna" chosen by his classmates, hoping to cultivate the ability of his classmates to read and research independently through such training. Based on the above, the planning and discussion of each topic in this course includes three parts: preliminary understanding, in-depth discussion, and guiding students to independently read and comment on the original text and text. It is hoped that through this training, students' critical thinking and independent research ability will be cultivated.
