Topics in Chinese Philosophy
教育目標 Course Target
主要課題包括:老子論道的不可言說與神祕主義的問題、莊子與惠施有關魚之樂的論辯、墨子的推理依據及後期墨家的侔式推理、公孫龍的邏輯思考、王陽明的「心外無物」說、德古來外星人的新儒家世界 (思想實驗)、龍樹四句的諸種詮釋、禪的公案與西方語文行為理論及中國哲學研究的方法論問題。
The main topics of the course include: The ineffability of dao and the view of mysticism in the Laozi, the debate between Zhuangzi and Hui Shi on the happiness of fish, the justification of reasoning in the Mozi and the Mou (parallel) reasoning in Later Mohism, Gongsun Long’s logical thinking in the White-Horse Discourse, Wang Yang-ming’s thesis of “nothing is outside the mind,” the Confucian world of the Dracula (ET) – a thought experiment, different interpretations of Nagarjuna’s Catuskoti (Four Sentences), the gong-an (public cases) in Zen (Chan) Buddhism and the Western theory of speech act, and the methodological problem of Chinese philosophy.
The main topics include: the ineffability and mysticism of Laozi's Taoism, the debate between Zhuangzi and Hui Shi about the joy of fish, Mozi's reasoning basis and the later Mohist reasoning, Gongsun Long's logical thinking, Wang Yangming's theory of "nothing outside the mind", the Neo-Confucian world of Teku Lai Alien (thought experiment), various interpretations of Nagarjuna's four sentences, Zen koan and Western language behavior theory, and methodological issues in Chinese philosophy research.
