自1990年代「南向政策」啟動以來,台灣與東南亞國家間通過資金、技術、勞動力輸出/入等方式進行的雙邊經貿往來愈形密切,亦帶動區域間的文化與社會等各層面的交流。本課程將從歷史學的視角,教導學生有關東南亞國家的歷史與文化發展,期能使之對東南亞地區有一系統性的認識,並能進一步對當代台灣多元化社會現況有所反思,理解東南亞新住民,啟迪其向東南亞發展的興趣。透過課程的引導,期能拓展學生的國際視野,以厚實其對臺灣多元文化的認知,也能更深入探索內在自我與領會人類文明的深層價值,且能培養學生尊重、欣賞多元文化的能力。Since the "Southward Policy" was launched in the 1990s, the dual-side trade between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries has become increasingly close through funding, technology, power output/input, etc., and it also promotes cultural and social exchanges across the region. This course will teach students about the historical and cultural development of Southeast Asian countries from the perspective of history, hoping to make them have a systematic understanding of the Southeast Asian region, and further reflect on the current situation of the contemporary Taiwan diversified society, understand the new residents of Southeast Asian countries, and promote their interest in developing into Southeast Asian countries. Through the guidance of the course, we can expand students' international vision, strengthen their understanding of Taiwan's multicultural culture, and further explore the deep value of inner self and leading human civilization, and cultivate students' ability to respect and appreciate diverse cultures.
