自1990年代「南向政策」啟動以來,台灣與東南亞國家間通過資金、技術、勞動力輸出/入等方式進行的雙邊經貿往來愈形密切,亦帶動區域間的文化與社會等各層面的交流。本課程將從歷史學的視角,教導學生有關東南亞國家的歷史與文化發展,期能使之對東南亞地區有一系統性的認識,並能進一步對當代台灣多元化社會現況有所反思,理解東南亞新住民,啟迪其向東南亞發展的興趣。透過課程的引導,期能拓展學生的國際視野,以厚實其對臺灣多元文化的認知,也能更深入探索內在自我與領會人類文明的深層價值,且能培養學生尊重、欣賞多元文化的能力。Since the launch of the "Southbound Policy" in the 1990s, bilateral economic and trade exchanges between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries through the export/import of capital, technology, and labor have become increasingly close, and have also driven cultural and social exchanges between the regions. This course will teach students about the history and cultural development of Southeast Asian countries from a historical perspective. It is expected to enable students to have a systematic understanding of Southeast Asia, further reflect on the current situation of contemporary Taiwan's diverse society, and understand the new trends in Southeast Asia. residents, inspiring their interest in developing into Southeast Asia. Through the guidance of the course, we hope to expand students' international horizons, enrich their understanding of Taiwan's multiculturalism, explore their inner selves more deeply and understand the deep values of human civilization, and cultivate students' ability to respect and appreciate multiculturalism.
