正向心理學為一關注正向特質、正向情緒及正向組織的科學研究,旨在透過探討人格優勢的特質,促進人們正向功能的開展與幸福人生,其目標旨在促進個體的生活品質,與更積極地預防病態之發生(Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi, 2000)。值得注意的是,正向心理學同時將焦點放在人類的優勢與弱點上,一方面幫助那些在心理健康上不適應的人,另一方面塑造美好事物,致力發揮潛能,充實個體健康的特質與生活(Peterson, 2006)。綜上所述,正向心理學的主要任務是釐清促進幸福的相關因素,並以科學的方法了解可以如何創造更美好的世界(Carr, 2004)。
本課程在介紹理論與新的概念前,將以生活案例的方式破題,協助學生將過去既有的經驗與新概念相連結,以符合認知心理學所揭「以舊經驗同化新知識的法則」(O'Donnell, Reeve, & Smith, 2011)。因此,本課程致力於將日常生活中能用到的正向心理學的理論,以符合學生生活經驗且深入淺出的故事、生活案例,用平易近人的方式進行解說,並透過問題導向學習(problem-based learning,簡稱PBL)的方式,活用所習得的知識與理論,凸顯課程內容的實用性與可操作性。每一個單元安排一些量表協助學生自我診斷,相關的學習活動也將提供完整與詳細的步驟,協助學生具體操作,其藉由本課程,協助學生善用自身優勢創造正向情緒,開展美好的生活。
Positive psychology is a scientific study that focuses on positive traits, positive emotions and positive organizations. It aims to promote the development of people's positive functions and a happy life by exploring the characteristics of personality strengths. Its goal is to promote the development of individual life quality, and more actively prevent the occurrence of pathologies (Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi, 2000). It is worth noting that positive psychology also focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of human beings. On the one hand, it helps those who are not adaptable to mental health. On the other hand, it shapes beautiful things, strives to realize potential, and enriches individual healthy traits. and life (Peterson, 2006). To sum up, the main task of positive psychology is to clarify the relevant factors that promote happiness and to use scientific methods to understand how to create a better world (Carr, 2004).
Before introducing theories and new concepts, this course will solve the problem through life cases to help students connect their past experiences with new concepts, in line with the "law of assimilating new knowledge with old experience" revealed by cognitive psychology. (O'Donnell, Reeve, & Smith, 2011). Therefore, this course is committed to using the theories of positive psychology that can be used in daily life, explaining them in an approachable way through stories and life cases that are in line with students' life experience and making it easy to understand, and through problem-based learning. learning (PBL for short) method, making full use of the acquired knowledge and theories to highlight the practicality and operability of the course content. Each unit is arranged with some scales to assist students in self-diagnosis. Related learning activities will also provide complete and detailed steps to assist students in specific operations. Through this course, students will be helped to make good use of their own advantages to create positive emotions and develop a better life. .
