正向心理學為一關注正向特質、正向情緒及正向組織的科學研究,旨在透過探討人格優勢的特質,促進人們正向功能的開展與幸福人生,其目標旨在促進個體的生活品質,與更積極地預防病態之發生(Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi, 2000)。值得注意的是,正向心理學同時將焦點放在人類的優勢與弱點上,一方面幫助那些在心理健康上不適應的人,另一方面塑造美好事物,致力發揮潛能,充實個體健康的特質與生活(Peterson, 2006)。綜上所述,正向心理學的主要任務是釐清促進幸福的相關因素,並以科學的方法了解可以如何創造更美好的世界(Carr, 2004)。
本課程在介紹理論與新的概念前,將以生活案例的方式破題,協助學生將過去既有的經驗與新概念相連結,以符合認知心理學所揭「以舊經驗同化新知識的法則」(O'Donnell, Reeve, & Smith, 2011)。因此,本課程致力於將日常生活中能用到的正向心理學的理論,以符合學生生活經驗且深入淺出的故事、生活案例,用平易近人的方式進行解說,並透過問題導向學習(problem-based learning,簡稱PBL)的方式,活用所習得的知識與理論,凸顯課程內容的實用性與可操作性。每一個單元安排一些量表協助學生自我診斷,相關的學習活動也將提供完整與詳細的步驟,協助學生具體操作,其藉由本課程,協助學生善用自身優勢創造正向情緒,開展美好的生活。
Positive psychology is a scientific research focusing on positive characteristics, positive emotions and positive organizations, aiming to explore the characteristics of personality advantages and promote the development and happy life of people's positive functions. Before introducing theory and new concepts, this course will solve the problem in the form of life cases and help students connect existing experiences with new concepts in order to conform to the "laws of assimilating new knowledge with old experiences" revealed by the cognitive psychology (O'Donnell, Reeve, & Smith, 2011). Therefore, this course is dedicated to explaining the theory of positive psychology that can be used in daily life, using in-depth and in-depth stories and life cases that are in line with students' life experience, and guiding them into learning through problem-based (problem-based) Learning, referred to as PBL), uses the learned knowledge and theory to highlight the practicality and operability of course content. Each unit arranges some scales to help students self-diagnose. Related learning activities will also provide complete and detailed steps to assist students in specific operations. Through this course, students can help students make good use of their own advantages to create positive emotions and develop a better life. .
