課程目標:
1.理解台灣在開放東南亞移工與婚姻移民後,在人權、文化、政治、經濟與社會上所產生的議題。
2.對台灣多元族群及文化概念能有足夠的理解。
3.檢討台灣人民對於東南亞移工與婚姻移民論述中的種族中心主義。
4.解讀相關媒體報導,並且透過學生親身經驗的觀察,接觸東南亞移工與婚姻移民女性。
5.相關政策及法規探討:體悟到台灣社會對東南亞移工與婚姻移民之不友善,以及政策法規制訂上之不完善、差別性與歧視性,使學生能夠關心我群外之利益,構築公民文化需具備之現代公民素養。
課程內涵:
在全球化趨勢下,移工及移民政策的開放使得各個國家在處理人權與種族衝突相關議題時變得比起過往更為複雜與困難,台灣亦需面對同樣的課題。本課程特別針對台灣在開放東南亞移工與婚姻移民後,在人權、文化、政治、經濟與社會面向上所產生的現象進行分析探討,特別是人權的保障與實現,期望學生能夠對東南亞移工移民現象與人權現況有初步的了解。本課程的內容設計以培養多元文化及尊重差異之價值觀為核心,鼓勵學生探索相關議題,反思己身常見的刻板印象或偏見,透過自身經驗的省思及與移工移民生命經驗的交流,進而提升學生對於多元文化經驗的接納理解,並且對台灣當今社會所呈現的人權和種族種突議題進行反思。Course Target:
1. Understand the issues arising from Taiwan in human rights, culture, politics, economy and society after opening up migrants in Southeast Asia.
2. Have a sufficient understanding of Taiwan’s multi-ethnic groups and cultural concepts.
3. Review the ethnic centralism of the Taiwanese people in their arguments on migrant workers and marriage immigration in Southeast Asia.
4. Read relevant media reports and contact South East Asia migrant workers and marriage immigrant women through students' personal experience.
5. Discussion on related policies and regulations: I realized the unfriendliness of Taiwan society to migrant workers and marriage immigration in Southeast Asia, as well as the imperfect, differentiated and discriminatory policy and regulations, so that students can care about the interests outside our group and organize citizens Culture needs to be well-behaved by modern citizens.
Course content:
Under the trend of globalization, the opening of immigration and immigration policies has made it more complicated and difficult for countries to handle human rights and ethnic conflicts than before, and Taiwan also needs to face the same subjects. This course specifically analyzes and explores the phenomena generated by Taiwan's human rights, culture, politics, economy and society after opening up migrants in Southeast Asia, especially the protection and reality of human rights. It is expected that students can migrate to Southeast Asia There is a preliminary understanding of immigration phenomena and human rights. The content design of this course is centered on cultivating diverse cultures and respecting differences. It encourages students to explore related topics, reflect on their common stereotypes or prejudices, and enter the process through reflection on their own experience and exchanges with the life experience of immigrants. Improve students' understanding of multicultural experience and reflect on the human rights and ethnic controversies presented in Taiwan's current society.
