本課程採專題討論方式進行,前半部偏向台灣電影美學理論及台灣文學史導覽,以播放多部影片片段方式進行交叉分析與比較;後半部則以分組報告互動方式,進行文字與影像在改編與詮釋之間異與同的深度論辯,同時訓練同學以文字表達個人意見的評論能力。期許本課程能開闊學生眼界,培養多面向的閱讀、鑑賞與獨立思考能力。「比較」是一種最基本的思考與批判,文學如是,電影亦然。從文字到影像,從本土到海外,從台灣到華語再到世界,本課程擬定以電影為主、文學為輔,打破傳統國族電影史系統性編年研究方式,透過不同時間、背景、產製脈絡的文學文本與電影文本間的對照與討論,藉以釐清電影、歷史和文化之間緊密複雜的關係,進而探討歷史本質、意涵及歷史實事、真相的建構方式。
本課程聚焦1970之後崛起的當代作家與導演,以台灣新電影為核心,前後輻射,從作者電影談到類型電影,遍及殿堂級經典以至大眾小說,兼談電視劇作及短片創作。尤其著重研討與鄉土文學關係密切之台灣新電影從興起到沒落,其時代意義與美學成就,並在學術理論深度研討之餘,訓練修課學生的影評撰寫文字表達能力。This course is conducted in a special discussion method. The first half is directed towards Taiwanese film aesthetics theory and Taiwan literature history, and cross-analysis and comparison is performed by playing multiple video clips; the second half is adapted by sub-report interaction, using text and images The differences and comments are the same in-depth discussions, and at the same time, train the evaluating ability of students to express personal opinions in words. This course is expected to open up students' horizons and cultivate multi-faceted reading, scrutiny and independent thinking skills. "Comparison" is a basic thinking and criticism, as is literature, and so is movies. From text to images, from local to overseas, from Taiwan to Chinese and then to the world, this course will focus on film and literature, breaking the systematic editing and annual research method of traditional national film history, through different times, backgrounds, and industries. The contrast and discussion between the complex literary text and the film text is used to clarify the complex relationship between film, history and culture, and then explore the construction methods of history's essence, meaning, historical facts and truth.
This course focuses on contemporary writers and directors who rose after 1970. It focuses on new Taiwanese films, and has radiated from the author's film to genre films, covering palace-level classics and even public novels, as well as TV dramas and short film creations. In particular, he focused on studying the new Taiwanese films, which are closely related to local literature, has never lost its abilities. Historical meaning and aesthetic achievements were discussed in depth in academic research, and he trained students' ability to write and express their film reviews.
