雲創學院的核心任務是積極培養跨領域AI人才,而且是真正有深度經歷過跨領域人工智慧專題計畫的人才。東海大學已有全校性運算思維與程式設計課程,而雲創學院的學生訓練,主要目的是有三:一是以人工智慧和資料科學為核心的跨領域教育;二是熟悉使用計算式與批判性思考解析並挑戰技術領域的難題;三是學生經歷學習與做人多層面溝通,在未來處理AI挑戰,視野要廣,富有社會責任,知道如何跨域合作,互相尊重與團隊實踐。
進入雲創學程的學生,必需加入形成一個跨領域的團隊,包括有三到四位學生及兩至多位跨域指導老師進行專題實作,透過不同領域的合作, 科研專案, 產學合作及實習經驗,產生許多問題與激盪。AI的教育不只是技術的問題,更是要深入思索AI科技如何影響我們的生活、及與社會所有關聯,AI的學習不只是冰冷的資料而是對我們與社會的關係有更深一層的反思。這些AI經濟模式,跨領域合作,以及對社會產生益處及影響必須藉著跨領域的團隊專題來學習。The core mission of Yunchuang Academy is to actively cultivate cross-field AI talents, and talents who have truly in-depth experience in cross-field artificial intelligence special projects. Tunghai University has a school-wide course on computational thinking and programming, and Yunchuang College’s student training has three main purposes: first, cross-field education with artificial intelligence and data science as the core; second, familiarity with the use of computational formulas and critical thinking Think, analyze and challenge difficult problems in the technical field; third, students must experience multi-faceted communication in learning and life, and deal with AI challenges in the future. They must have a broad vision, be full of social responsibility, know how to cooperate across domains, respect each other and practice as a team.
Students who enter the Yunchuang Academic Program must join a cross-field team, including three to four students and two to more cross-field instructors to carry out project implementation through cooperation in different fields, scientific research projects, industry-university cooperation and internships The experience gave rise to many questions and agitation. AI education is not just a technical issue, but also requires in-depth thinking about how AI technology affects our lives and its relationship with society. AI learning is not just cold data but a deeper reflection on our relationship with society. These AI economic models, cross-field cooperation, and the benefits and impacts on society must be learned through cross-field team projects.
