本課程之目標在於使同學能深入了解英文法學用語、培養學生對美國法整體架構之基本認識，並具備搜尋、閱讀、分析英文法律文獻資料之能力。本課程將以講授、討論、或提問辯答方式並行，由授課老師引導同學討論當週指定之教材內容。每週並要求學生分組以英文報告當週法學相關時事，以學習如何蒐尋、分析、並整理英文法律用語。
本課程同時將配合本課程各階段之進度，要求同學完成指定之研究作業。The goal of this course is to enable students to have an in-depth understanding of English legal terms, develop students' basic understanding of the overall structure of American law, and have the ability to search, read, and analyze English legal documents. This course will be conducted in parallel with lectures, discussions, or question and answer sessions. The instructor will guide students to discuss the designated teaching materials for that week. Each week, students are required to work in groups to report on current legal affairs of the week in English to learn how to search, analyze, and organize English legal terms.
This course will also coordinate with the progress of each stage of the course and require students to complete designated research assignments.

透過美國重要案例,了解基本人權,正當程序,侵權,契約等相關之專有名詞與基本概念.
This course mainly introduces legal English and case reading and summary analysis of common law and American law.
Through important cases in the United States, understand the proper nouns and basic concepts related to basic human rights, due process, torts, contracts, etc.
