建築表現法為建築系一年級的必修課程，主要在讓學生熟悉建築在專業上各種表現的工具與技巧。本課程的目的為訓練同學能將自己的設計想法轉化為圖說，有效的溝通與表達，並能開始判別什麼樣的圖象方式適合且精準的幫助說明設計的思考過程以及內容。課程內容除了包含傳統建築圖學的認知以及訓練外，亦包涵字體書寫、線條練習、素描、模型製作、材料的應用、攝影方法，皆為這堂課所訓練的重點。另外，設計課時常以影片的方式來協助了解設計，透過影片的拍攝與剪輯，在短短時間內呈現出設計概念、設計與基地的關係、設計與人的互動、設計操作以及設計的製作過程。可試著透過著名畫家、攝影家的作品以及手法來學習如何用新的方式、新的角度來閱讀空間、呈現空間。Architectural expression is a compulsory course for the first-year level of the building department, mainly to make students familiar with the various professional tools and techniques of architecture.
