課程目標 Course Objective:不論是藝術歌曲或歌劇,歌詞都是區分人聲藝術和器樂的主要因素。如何清楚及正確的咬字、如何把歌詞中的情緒、美感、氛圍忠實傳達出來,是歌者最重要的課題之一。本課程介紹法文發音規則,以世界通用的「國際音標」(International Phonetic Alphabet)為學習基礎,輔以歌詞朗讀訓練以及每單元的演唱實作,使學生具備法文咬字的基本知識,更靈活運用於樂曲的學習和呈現,提昇學生的知識及表演能力。
The singing text is what distinguishes human voice and instrumental music. No matter in opera or in art-song stage, having clear and accurate diction to present the true meaning of the poet and the composer is the sole responsibility of the singer. This diction class offers one semesters of training in French pronunciation. It is designed to provide learning opportunities in the areas of IPA transcriptions, spoken diction, and sung diction. This course covers knowledge of International Phonetic Alphabet, and then diction rules of French. In-class recitation and singing presentation will be required.
Course Objective: Whether it is art songs or operas, lyrics are the main factor that distinguishes vocal art from instrumental music. How to pronounce words clearly and correctly, and how to faithfully convey the emotion, beauty, and atmosphere in the lyrics, are one of the most important issues for singers. This course introduces the rules of French pronunciation, using the world-wide "International Phonetic Alphabet" as the learning basis, supplemented by lyrics reading training and singing practice in each unit, so that students can have the basic knowledge of French pronunciation and use it more flexibly. The learning and presentation of music enhances students’ knowledge and performance abilities.
