教育目標 Course Target
如果說第一次世界大戰引發了俄羅斯的共產革命，那麽，第二次世界大戰則孕育出了中國的共產革命。毫無疑問，日本和臺灣的知識人皆深受這兩次革命的影響。但是，相對於日本，左右論爭的歷史動能在戰後臺灣社會極爲薄弱。
本課程將透過戰後日本知識人的肖像式介紹，引領同學認識戰後日本的左右論爭，並藉以理解日本戰後社會的形成基礎。同時，反思戰後臺灣社會的思想空白。
If World War I triggered the communist revolution in Russia, then World War II gave birth to the communist revolution in China. There is no doubt that intellectuals in Japan and Taiwan were deeply affected by these two revolutions. However, compared to Japan, the historical momentum of left-right debate is extremely weak in post-war Taiwanese society.
This course will lead students to understand the left-right debate in post-war Japan through portrait-style introductions by intellectuals in post-war Japan, and to understand the foundation of Japanese post-war society. At the same time, we reflect on the ideological gaps in Taiwanese society after the war.
