教育目標 Course Target

教學目標 研究,就是說個故事,評個理。 本課程介紹科學研究的基本哲學以及社會學經常使用的研究方法,以養成學生獨立思考與研究執行之能力。本課程同時介紹基本的統計概念,其中將特別強調如何避免統計的誤用與濫用,以及統計在研究解釋上的限制,期能養成同學正確的統計態度。另外,將著重於量化研究的測量、抽樣、研究方法及資料分析,培養所有的社會系學生作研究應該具備的基本訓練能力:對有興趣的研究主題,能夠正確而自在的使用研究方法與量化的工具。 在課程安排上,上學期已完成確定研究的議題、應用相關的理論、整理與回顧相關文獻;另外,也設計了封閉式的問卷、提供可量化的問卷問題答項,並完成排版。本學期開始,首先將要理解抽樣的原理、以及熟悉抽樣的流程。隨後,即將到東海校園各學院、各系所發放問卷並完成回收,再整理問卷、完成資料的輸入。同時,我們將複習過去學過的統計概念、將之應用到真實的資料分析上。透過各種統計工具的使用,進行量化資料的分析,最後寫成完整的學術報告。 Teaching objectives Research means telling a story and evaluating a theory. This course introduces the basic philosophy of scientific research and the research methods commonly used in sociology to develop students' ability to think independently and conduct research. This course also introduces basic statistical concepts, with special emphasis on how to avoid the misuse and abuse of statistics, as well as the limitations of statistics in research interpretation, with the hope of cultivating students' correct statistical attitudes. In addition, it will focus on measurement, sampling, research methods and data analysis of quantitative research, and cultivate the basic training abilities that all sociology students should have for research: being able to correctly and comfortably use research methods and quantification on research topics of interest. tools. In terms of course arrangement, the last semester has completed the determination of research topics, application of relevant theories, and collation and review of relevant literature. In addition, a closed-ended questionnaire has been designed, quantifiable answers to the questionnaire questions have been provided, and the layout has been completed. At the beginning of this semester, you will first understand the principles of sampling and become familiar with the sampling process. Afterwards, they will go to various colleges and departments on the Donghai campus to distribute questionnaires and complete the recovery, then organize the questionnaires and complete the input of data. At the same time, we will review the statistical concepts we have learned in the past and apply them to real data analysis. Through the use of various statistical tools, quantitative data analysis is conducted, and finally a complete academic report is written.
