為協助本系學生及早瞭解公共服務實務，本系研商推展大學部實習計畫已久。過去試辦約六年之久的「志工管理與公共服務」選修課程，今改以「行政實習Ⅰ、Ⅱ」為名，並將學分數調降為上下學期各2學分，並限制為大三或大四學生的專屬選修而接續辦理。
本課程設計延續自過去前述上下學期課程的設計，皆以「學生學習成效」之驗證為核心，希望提供多元協助讓大四學生在畢業前可以將四年所學進行盤點，進而選擇一個實習場域及議題，結合一群好友共同發揮所長，為自己的就業履歷衝刺出一份藍海作品。
今年延續109上學期之安排，開始執行120小時（依東海大學學生校外實習辦法第六條規定每一學分的實習時數須達60小時）校外專案實習。讓學生從多個專案計畫中，選擇自己感興趣的專案。過程中，將分配指導老師進行機構訪視，以及實習之外的專案討論，協助學生能夠如質如實完成所選專案。

In order to help students in this department understand the practice of public services as early as possible, our department has been considering launching an undergraduate internship program for a long time. The "Volunteer Management and Public Service" elective course that was piloted for about six years in the past has been renamed "Administrative Internship I and II", and the number of credits has been reduced to 2 credits each in the upper and lower semesters, and is restricted to exclusive elective courses for junior or senior students.
The design of this course continues from the design of the previous two-semester courses, with the verification of "student learning effectiveness" as the core. We hope to provide diversified assistance so that senior students can take stock of what they have learned in four years before graduation, and then choose an internship field and topic, combine their strengths with a group of friends, and sprint out a blue ocean project for their employment resume.
This year, the arrangement of 109 last semester will be continued, and 120 hours of off-campus project internships will be implemented (according to Article 6 of the off-campus internship regulations for Tunghai University students, the number of internship hours per credit must reach 60 hours). Allow students to choose the project they are interested in from multiple project plans. During the process, instructors will be assigned to conduct institutional visits and project discussions outside of the internship to help students complete the selected projects with quality and truthfulness.
