本課程是第一個機率統計數理基礎課程,內容包括機率概念、隨機變數、機率分配、與期望值。本課程最主要在訓練學生把連加與積分方法,運用在計算單一或多個隨機變數時的機率和期望值的計算,並從這個過程中具體瞭解機率的本質。主要一般大學程度上機率論上的訓練及使用成未來在統計相關課程及應用上所需要的基礎。會從一般的古典機率概念出發 建立現代隨機變數及分配觀念及基礎為核心,能學習隨機變數上重要性質如動差及相關,初步認識ㄧ些對未來會有需要的近似理論。This course is the first mathematical foundation course in probability statistics, covering the concept of probability, random variables, probability distribution, and expected value. The main purpose of this course is to train students to use continuous addition and integration methods to calculate probability and expected value when calculating single or multiple random variables, and to gain a detailed understanding of the nature of probability from this process. Mainly, the training and application of probability theory at the general university level will serve as the foundation needed for future statistics-related courses and applications. Starting from the general concept of classical probability, students will establish modern random variables and distribution concepts and foundations as the core. They will be able to learn important properties of random variables such as dynamics and correlations, and initially understand some approximate theories that will be needed in the future.
