本課程為一整年課程，以下主要描述上學期課程內容與目標：
統計學是一門研究如何對蒐集到的資料進行必要的分析，以得到具體的結論的方法論。本課程除了會對統計的方法與原理會做一個深入淺出的介紹外，同時也將要求學生運用統計軟體如Excel與SPSS，繳交日常作業，以培養學生理論與應用並重的能力。此外，同學必須了解如何透過google表單來設計相關問卷與進行資料搜集與分析。本課程也會透過普瓦松與指數分配的教學，讓同學實際了解資料如何進行資料模擬與繪製成分配型態，並且解讀其背後的管理意涵與應用。

This course is a full-year course. The following mainly describes the course content and objectives of the previous semester:
Statistics is a methodology that studies how to perform necessary analysis on collected data to obtain specific conclusions. In addition to an in-depth introduction to statistical methods and principles, this course will also require students to use statistical software such as Excel and SPSS to submit daily assignments to cultivate students' ability to pay equal attention to theory and application. In addition, students must understand how to design relevant questionnaires and conduct data collection and analysis through Google Forms. This course will also use the teaching of Poisson and exponential distribution to allow students to actually understand how to simulate data and draw distribution patterns, and interpret the management implications and applications behind it.
