Phase I of this course will cover environmental air pollution issues, such as global warming, ozone layer depletion, acid rain, PM2.5, emission factors, and others.
Phase II of this course covers technical reduction/abatement of various pollutant emission. Air pollution control devices to be taught include cyclone, electric precipitator, bag house, various scrubbers (packing tower, Venturi scrubber, and others), low-NOx technologies, de-sulfurization of flue gas stream.
In phase III, EACH student will be required to orally presented each's air pollution-related ppt during the last two weeks before final exam.
