環境倫理學（Environmental ethics）是一門環境哲學，以關心人類與環境之間的倫理關係問題為重點。以往多以公害、自然破壞、污染等等的問題為討論核心，常因各文化的差異而有不同結論。現今「環境問題」的探討已有較新的概念，即使各種環境倫理思想差異不斷產生，即使世界觀與文化不同，卻都須對環境具有道德性的思考和對待。
本課程以「環境倫理學之父」Holmes Rolston III於1988年出版的《環境倫理學－對自然界的義務與自然界的價值》（Environmental ethics : duties to and values in the natural world）的觀點為主，再加入當代哲學家對環境和自然的看法，來瞭解人與自然、環境的倫理關係。
為釐清二者間多層的關係，本課程有必要討論：
1. 什麼是倫理學？
2. 「人」的概念和不同面向
3. 自然，環境，周圍世界
4. 人與自然，人與環境，人的周圍世界
5. 人的勞動生產和自然，當代科技、技術與環境
6. 人與自然的交互作用Environmental ethics is an environmental philosophy that focuses on the ethical relationship between humans and the environment. In the past, issues such as public hazards, natural damage, pollution, etc. were often the focus of discussions, and conclusions often came to different conclusions due to cultural differences. Nowadays, the discussion of "environmental issues" has a relatively new concept. Even though differences in various environmental ethical thoughts continue to arise, and even if the world view and culture are different, we all need to think about and treat the environment ethically.
This course is based on the views of "Environmental ethics: duties to and values in the natural world" published in 1988 by Holmes Rolston III, the "father of environmental ethics". Then add contemporary philosophers’ views on the environment and nature to understand the ethical relationship between humans, nature and the environment.
In order to clarify the multi-layered relationship between the two, it is necessary to discuss in this course:
1. What is ethics?
2. The concept and different aspects of “people”
3. Nature, environment, surrounding world
4. Man and nature, man and environment, and the world around man
5. Human labor production and nature, contemporary science and technology, technology and environment
6. Interaction between humans and nature
