“化學生物學”是運用化學的方法去解決生物的課題。“化學生物學”的課程將介紹生物體中基本的生物分子,包括:蛋白質、脂質、醣類、及核酸。由於這些生物分子在許多生物體中扮演重要的角色,因此,將介紹生物分子的結構及功能。此外,亦將探討生物有機化學及其應用。
"Chemical biology" is the use of chemical methods to solve biological problems. The "Chemical Biology" course will introduce the basic biological molecules in living organisms, including proteins, lipids, sugars, and nucleic acids.
