(一)指導學生使其具有識讀媒體科學相關新聞之能力,提升學生科學媒體素養,能判斷「科學假新聞」,並在能力所及之範圍遏止其繼續傳播。
(二)訓練學生科學新聞寫作的能力,將全球最前沿的科學發現與科技發展以簡明易懂的文章與影片,並製作短片,在目前媒體界缺乏專業的科學新聞記者的環境下,透過網路傳播,發揮基礎科學專業科系的能力,將重大科學新聞正確的傳達給社會大眾,讓科學走出校園,可以讓校園外社會大眾的科學素養也一起提升。
(三)將邀請科普傳播界重量級人士到課演講,與同學交換推動科學傳播之經驗與心得。
(四)由理工科系與人文社會科系的同學組隊共同協作,累積同學跨領域合作之經驗與能力
(1) Guide students to have the ability to read media science-related news, improve students' scientific media literacy, be able to judge "scientific fake news", and curb their continued spread within the scope of their abilities.
(2) Train students’ scientific news writing abilities, present the world’s most cutting-edge scientific discoveries and technological developments in concise and easy-to-understand articles and videos, and produce short films. In the current environment where the media industry lacks professional science journalists, they can publish them through the Internet. Through road communication, we should give full play to the capabilities of basic science majors and departments to accurately convey major scientific news to the public. Let science go out of the campus and improve the scientific literacy of the public outside the campus.
(3) We will invite heavyweights in the field of science communication to give lectures and exchange experiences and insights on promoting science communication with students.
(4) Students from the Department of Science and Engineering and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences will work together in teams to accumulate experience and abilities in cross-field cooperation.
