(一)指導學生使其具有識讀媒體科學相關新聞之能力,提升學生科學媒體素養,能判斷「科學假新聞」,並在能力所及之範圍遏止其繼續傳播。
(二)訓練學生科學新聞寫作的能力,將全球最前沿的科學發現與科技發展以簡明易懂的文章與影片,並製作短片,在目前媒體界缺乏專業的科學新聞記者的環境下,透過網路傳播,發揮基礎科學專業科系的能力,將重大科學新聞正確的傳達給社會大眾,讓科學走出校園,可以讓校園外社會大眾的科學素養也一起提升。
(三)將邀請科普傳播界重量級人士到課演講,與同學交換推動科學傳播之經驗與心得。
(四)由理工科系與人文社會科系的同學組隊共同協作,累積同學跨領域合作之經驗與能力
(1) Guide students to have the ability to understand and read media related news, improve the quality of students' scientific media, be able to judge "scientific fake news", and prevent them from continuing to spread within their abilities.

(3) We will invite heavyweights from the science popularization and communication industry to lecture in class and exchange experiences and experiences in promoting scientific communication with classmates.
(IV) Cooperation will be carried out by a team of the Department of Science and Engineering and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences to accumulate experience and abilities of cross-domain cooperation among students.
