本課程之目標在教授電磁學及近代物理兩大領域中之主要物理內涵。上述領域為應用物理系同學必備之基礎專業知識,在普通物理的層級則以傳授主要之物理觀念,強化同學們可從學物理中培養物理之直覺,並能熟悉如何利微積分為學習工具加強其基本演算能力。本課程之基本目標為訓諌同學能熟各領域之習題演練,藉此除可訓練其思考能力,培養其勤於作業,並增進其學習之廣度。The purpose of this course is to teach the main physical connotations of electromagnetism and modern physics.
