這門課是為加強學生延伸對世界之瞭解及熱情而設計。英語溝通能力則是課程使用媒介。學生會在課程中習得基本語彙，在輕鬆環境下進行溝通。課程中習得的溝通技巧及學生參與的活動讓他們對各種議題有更深入了解，之後能更自信地表達想法。This course is designed to enhance students' extended understanding and enthusiasm for the world. English communication skills are the medium used in the course. Students will acquire basic vocabulary in the course and communicate in a relaxed environment. The communication skills acquired in the course and the activities students participate in provide them with a deeper understanding of various issues and later enable them to express their ideas more confidently.
「當代世界議題」是一個與世界接軌的課程。針對學生感興趣的當代世界議題，以活潑的網路英文短片短文為教材，經由設計的活動讓學生一同探討激盪個人對議題之思考。本課程將以20人小班制雙語進行互動式教學，讓學生能在更多元、自主活潑的學習語境中，具體強化其國際視野暨英語文溝通能力。
"Contemporary World Issues" is a course that is in line with the world. Focusing on contemporary world issues that students are interested in, lively online English short essays are used as teaching materials, and activities are designed to allow students to discuss and stimulate their personal thinking on the issues. This course will be taught interactively in bilingual mode in a small class of 20 students, allowing students to concretely strengthen their international vision and English communication skills in a more diverse, independent and lively learning context.
