1.瞭解博物館由西方開始的歷史發展，及當今博物館在研究、典藏、展示、保存、傳播、教育、娛樂等角色的發展與定位。
2.學習如何藉由團體合作策劃具在地人文、宗教和社會責任的展覽主題。並能發揮多元與跨域的博物館論壇功能，以服務社會。
3.集體合作下能達成學以致用、活學活用的目標，以構作出思慮觀眾、展示主題、內容和空間規畫的策展實作任務。
4.以總整式課程（capstone course）特點呈現，能將史學知識運用於策展實務，並於其間導入歷史思考與意識。
5.連結未來生涯職能，讓想從事博物館相關工作的同學能得到相應的實務訓練。
1. Understand the historical development of museums starting from the West, and the development and positioning of today's museums in research, collection, display, preservation, dissemination, education, entertainment and other roles.
2. Learn how to plan exhibition themes with local humanities, religion and social responsibility through group cooperation. It can also function as a diverse and cross-domain museum forum to serve the society.
3. Through collective cooperation, we can achieve the goal of applying what we have learned and applying what we have learned in a practical way, so as to construct curatorial implementation tasks that consider the audience, display themes, content, and space planning.
4. Presented with the characteristics of a capstone course, historical knowledge can be applied to curatorial practice, and historical thinking and awareness can be introduced into it.
5. Connect future career functions so that students who want to engage in museum-related work can receive corresponding practical training.
