本課程擬以中國古代思想家、思想學派或思想潮流為講授單元,旨在介紹中國思想的演變。本學期將由戰國末年述起,中及漢代思想、魏晉玄學、隋唐佛學、宋明理學,終於清代學術。本課程有三個主要學習目標:一是對中國思想的特質有所理解。二是對個別思想家、學派的根本關懷與思想體系,有清楚的認識。三是通過本課程的修習,能明瞭從戰國末年到清代的中國思想發展大勢,以作為日後有意深探古典思想、文化的基石。 This course is planned to use ancient Chinese thinkers, schools of thought or ideological trends as teaching units, aiming to introduce the evolution of Chinese thought. This semester will start from the end of the Warring States Period, and then cover the thought of the Han Dynasty, metaphysics of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Buddhism of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties, and finally the scholarship of the Qing Dynasty. This course has three main learning objectives: First, to gain an understanding of the characteristics of Chinese thought. The second is to have a clear understanding of the fundamental concerns and ideological systems of individual thinkers and schools. Third, through the study of this course, we can understand the development trend of Chinese thought from the late Warring States to the Qing Dynasty, which will serve as the cornerstone for future exploration of classical thought and culture.
