■ 課程目標 (Course Objectives)
教導學生於現代資訊化社會，大量使用網際網路之情況下，如何保護自己之個人資料不被濫行蒐集使用致使自己權利受損，已為重要之問題。教導學生認識個人資料的本質為何及如何保護自己之個人資料不被違法利用，以及探究在現今人工智慧發展涉及的個資保護議題，為本課程之首要目標。

個人資料保護法之概說，蒐集、處理與利用之限制規範。
介紹歐盟與日本關於個資保護之重要規範。

It has become an important issue to teach students how to protect their personal information from being collected and used indiscriminately and causing damage to their rights in the modern information society and the extensive use of the Internet. The primary goal of this course is to teach students to understand the nature of personal data and how to protect their personal data from illegal use, as well as to explore the personal data protection issues involved in the development of artificial intelligence today.

An overview of the Personal Data Protection Act and restrictions on collection, processing and use.
Introducing the important regulations on personal data protection between the EU and Japan.
