本課程目標為讓修課者具備針對各種表演藝術形式與內容進行研究與評論的基礎能力，內容將涵蓋分析方式（文本、表演）、研究戲劇的主要理論以及各種環繞劇場的關鍵概念（例如：空間、演員、觀眾等），期許修課者能夠對表演藝術研究有進一步理解，並選擇自己感興趣的領域繼續探索。The goal of this course is to equip students with the basic ability to conduct research and criticism on various forms and contents of performing arts. The content will cover analysis methods (text, performance), main theories for studying drama, and various key concepts surrounding theater (such as: Space, actors, audience, etc.), it is expected that course participants can have a further understanding of performing arts research and continue to explore areas of interest.
解說與音樂劇相關各種批評理論，由理論切入作品，擬出批評方案。為批評方法論及實務操作，對初學或精通者皆有用。
Explain various critical theories related to musicals, apply the theory to the work, and formulate a criticism plan. It criticizes methodology and practical operations, and is useful for both beginners and proficient readers.
