題目一 : 都市紋理觀察
說明：台灣的都市發展沒有經過都市設計階段，直接進行都市計畫。它以量化的
科學和法規遂行土地使用分區的編定和管制，再以細則來規範建築。台灣
的都市發展因而缺乏各自的特色。基隆的內港、桃園的埤塘、台中的水圳、
台南的運河、高雄的海港等在都市計畫之下看不出個別的願景。
建築人一定要有都市設計的概念，建築一定要對都市鄰里散發善意，這樣
才能促進更積極與友善的外部公共空間的成形。
本設計期待同學們先用一種抽離的、抽象的視角來觀察與審視台中市的中
心區，用「心」來看、來聽、來思考。
主旨：從台中市街圖探索台中城區(環線內)的街廓性格。個別選定因放射狀(扇狀)
都市街廓形成的三角交匯區域(intermediate or transitional areas)進行探討。
成果：1.以圖像和立體紙板模型為媒材，表達所選研究區塊的性格與特質。
2.以手稿來描繪所選區塊的「現象的開展」。

題目二 : 轉角的風景—青年共享住宅和劇場
主旨：延續設計題目一對都市的觀察心得，在五權路與梅川相會的三角地上，設
計施工中的「希堤微旅-2」的增建附屬建築。
關鍵字：轉角的建築語義學(semantics)。
尺度scale。元件element。構成parti。
基地：如附件。基地位於台中市西區五權路、民生路和梅川東路交會所形成的三
角形街廓的角端。基地面積465.8 m2。「希堤微旅-2」基地面積340 m2。
建蔽率70%，容積率280%。建築退縮規定自道路退縮4公尺騎樓地。。
內容：
店鋪一間：設置於一樓，為輕食咖啡或簡餐廳，兼販售文創工作者作品和展覽或講座相關之商品。樓地板約60 m2。
小型劇場：實驗型劇場，需有階梯座位(可為活動式)。考慮後台空間和表演者相關休息、準備室等。樓地板約390 m2。
共享住宅：一房一廳和studio兩種房型，並設置下列共享空間：廚房、交誼廳、工作坊、運動房、洗衣房等。樓地板約450 m2。其中住房約10戶，每戶24 m2至30 m2，其餘共享空間約160 m2。
其他：門廳、梯廳、管理辦公室、公共廁所 (含一無障礙廁所)、走道、垃圾收集室等。樓地板約400 m2。
室外：開放空間請積極考慮與梅川園道之關係。
連結：與「希堤微旅-2」的連結只能考慮從一樓後院和夾層以橋式建築連結。新建物外牆不得緊靠現有建築。
停車：不考慮設置汽車停車場，使用旅店地下倉儲式機械停車場。但需考慮機車和腳踏車停車空間。
樓高：建築物高度不超過5層樓為原則。
操作：構成-parti練習：
1，都市街角分析。
2，探索配置構成的線索。
3，空間構成。
設計發展
1，diagram 圖解設計發展。
2，以環境模型探討建築配置。
3，以大尺度草模型探討內部空間、自然光影等內部環境品質。
4，材料與構築概念發展。
設計成果內容：
1，設計說明：圖解diagram、概念模為主，文字為輔。
2，基本圖：配置圖1:300，各層平面圖 1:100，兩向剖面圖 1:100，局部
大樣剖面圖 1:20。
3，效果圖：等角爆炸圖(blow-up isometric)說明各部構件和材料。
透視圖展現設計概念主軸。可以選擇外觀或剖面透視圖。
4，設計集：同學將設計過程草圖，上課、草評、總評和正圖匯集成冊。
編排與紀錄所走過的設計過程，也是一種設計練習。

Topic 1: Urban Texture Observation

This design hopes that students will first use a detached and abstract perspective to observe and examine the central city of Taichung.
Heart area, use the "heart" to see, listen, and think.
Purpose: Explore the street profile character of Taichung City (within the Ring Line) from the Taichung City Street Map. Individual selection due to radial (fan-shaped)
The triangular intersection areas (intermediate or transitional areas) formed by urban street outlines are discussed.
Results: 1. Use images and three-dimensional cardboard models as media to express the character and characteristics of the selected research area.
2. Use a manuscript to describe the "development of phenomena" in the selected area.

Topic 2: Scenery around the corner—Youth shared housing and theater
Purpose: Continuing the design title, a pair of urban observations are designed on the triangular land where Wuquan Road and Meichuan Road meet.
An additional ancillary building is planned for the "Hidi Micro Brigade-2" under construction.
Keywords: Architectural semantics of corners.

Base: as attached. The base is located at the intersection of Wuquan Road, Minsheng Road and Meichuan East Road in the West District of Taichung City.
The corner end of an angular street profile. The site area is 465.8 m2. The base area of "Xidi Micro Brigade-2" is 340 m2.
The building coverage rate is 70% and the floor area ratio is 280%. The building setback stipulates that the arcade shall be set back 4 meters from the road. .

Shop 1: Set up on the first floor, it is a light coffee or simple restaurant, and also sells works of cultural and creative workers and products related to exhibitions or lectures. The floor area is approximately 60 m2.
Small theater: Experimental theater, requiring stepped seats (can be movable). Consider backstage space and performer-related resting, preparation rooms, etc. The floor area is approximately 390 m2.
Shared housing: one-bedroom, one-living room and studio, with the following shared spaces: kitchen, lounge, workshop, exercise room, laundry room, etc. The floor area is approximately 450 m2. There are about 10 houses, each with 24 m2 to 30 m2, and the remaining shared space is about 160 m2.
Others: foyer, staircase, management office, public toilets (including one barrier-free toilet), walkways, garbage collection room, etc. The floor area is approximately 400 m2.
Outdoor: Please actively consider the relationship between the open space and Umekawa Garden Road.
Connection: The connection with "Xidi Micro Travel-2" can only be connected through a bridge-type building from the backyard and mezzanine on the first floor. The exterior walls of new buildings must not be adjacent to existing buildings.
Parking: Do not consider setting up a car parking lot, use the hotel's underground storage-type mechanical parking lot. However, parking space for motorcycles and bicycles needs to be considered.
Building height: The principle is that the building height should not exceed 5 floors.

design development
1. Development of diagram design.
2. Use environmental models to explore building configurations.
3. Use large-scale grass models to explore internal environment qualities such as internal space, natural light and shadow.
4. Development of materials and construction concepts.
Design result content:
1. Design description: Diagram and conceptual model are the main focus, supplemented by text.
2. Basic drawing: configuration drawing 1:300, floor plan 1:100, two-way cross-section 1:100, partial

3. Rendering: Blow-up isometric illustration of various components and materials.
Perspective drawings show the main axis of the design concept. You can choose appearance or section perspective.
4. Design collection: Students collect the sketches of the design process, class, draft comments, general comments and main drawings into a volume.
Arranging and recording the design process is also a design exercise.
