隨著全國代表性調查資料庫的日益累積與統計軟體的迅速發展,「大型調查資料庫分析」成為社會學研究中便利且有力的研究方法。基於此,本課程將以「做中學」的方式引導學生培養利用橫斷面調查資料(如「台灣社會變遷基本調查」)進行研究的能力與經驗,並對其中關於題目發展、統計概念與實際操作的連貫關係進行系統性的講解。[Tentative version of the outline, the official version will be distributed at the beginning of the semester]
With the increasing accumulation of nationally representative survey databases and the rapid development of statistical software, "large survey database analysis" has become a convenient and powerful research method in sociological research. Based on this, this course will guide students to develop their ability and experience in conducting research using cross-sectional survey data (such as the "Taiwan Basic Survey on Social Change") through a "learning by doing" approach, and will also provide students with basic knowledge on topic development, statistical concepts and practice. Systematically explain the coherent relationship between operations.
