隨著全國代表性調查資料庫的日益累積與統計軟體的迅速發展,「大型調查資料庫分析」成為社會學研究中便利且有力的研究方法。基於此,本課程將以「做中學」的方式引導學生培養利用橫斷面調查資料(如「台灣社會變遷基本調查」)進行研究的能力與經驗,並對其中關於題目發展、統計概念與實際操作的連貫關係進行系統性的講解。

With the increasing accumulation of representative survey databases across the country and the rapid development of statistical software, "large survey database analysis" has become a convenient and powerful research method in social research. Based on this, this course will guide students to cultivate their ability and experience in using inter-face survey data (such as the "Basic Survey of Social Change in Taiwan") in a "study-behind" way, and conduct systematic explanations on the relationship between topic development, statistical concepts and actual operations.
