課程概述(系所共同性目標) Course Description
本課程主要目標為介紹各式生醫感測器之原理、構造、特性、對應電路及其應用等。生醫感測器的種類繁多且應用廣泛，其量測的物理量包含光、電、磁、溫度、超音波、壓力及化學量等，另外心電圖(ECG)訊號擷取亦為感測器的重要應用之ㄧ，故本課程除了闡述基本的感測器外，對生醫用感測器加以著墨，例如:心電訊號量測及心電圖機的設計。
本課程亦介紹生物晶片，生物晶片應用廣泛如:癌症篩檢、快速檢驗、降低疼痛…等等，利用現今之奈米技術將生物晶片微小，以達到快速及準確的檢測，為目前當紅的研究題目。本課程探討生醫晶片之原理，並討論設計及製作各式生物晶片及其測試與應用領域，讓學生對各類不同生物晶片具有更深入的了解。

Course Overview (Common Objectives of the Department) Course Description
The main goal of this course is to introduce the principles, structures, characteristics, corresponding circuits and applications of various biomedical sensors. There are many types of biomedical sensors and they are widely used. The physical quantities they measure include light, electricity, magnetism, temperature, ultrasound, pressure and chemical quantities. In addition, electrocardiogram (ECG) signal acquisition is also an important application of sensors. Therefore, in addition to explaining basic sensors, this course also discusses biomedical sensors, such as ECG signal measurement and the design of electrocardiograph machines.
This course also introduces biochips, which are widely used in cancer screening, rapid testing, pain reduction, etc. Using today's nanotechnology to make biochips tiny to achieve rapid and accurate detection is a popular research topic at present. This course explores the principles of biomedical chips, and discusses the design and production of various biochips as well as their testing and application areas, allowing students to have a deeper understanding of different types of biochips.
