Cloud Computing has often been referred to as the 5th utility (joining gas, water, electricity and telephony) and, as we look to the future, all software innovation today is based around a Cloud Computing model.
This course a unique perspective on the evolution of the wide variety of Cloud Computing models and also where they may be headed in the future. The course explains the value of process, requirements, planning, and system migration in Cloud Computing. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
(1) Explore the need for software vendors to focus much more closely than they ever did before on their customers’ success to create compelling reasons for these business subscribers not to leave. The teaching materials give a fascinating insight into the new world of pricing strategies to attract business customers.
(2) Perceive a practical examination of the change empowered by the advent of Cloud Computing’s SaaS offering and its impact on the revenue models offered and availed of in this sector.
(3) Be prepared to advance future career as a confident software product management professional. And also students will have the opportunity to share their experiences and learn from the insights of others as part of a Cloud Computing world.
