研究生除所上課程學習與論文寫作外，尚需吸收多方知識與經驗，以助於學術內涵的提升。因此系上設計書報討論課程，採一學分必選。學期中將由三位老師安排演講主題與講員，將邀請學術界及實務界的專家學者來所上演講與討論。希望能幫助學生更深刻的了解工業工程相關領域的理論與實務。

In addition to course study and thesis writing, graduate students also need to absorb a variety of knowledge and experiences to help improve their academic content. Therefore, it is compulsory to take one credit of the Design Book and Newspaper Discussion Course. During the semester, three teachers will arrange lecture topics and speakers, and experts and scholars from academia and practice will be invited to give lectures and discussions. I hope it can help students gain a deeper understanding of the theory and practice in industrial engineering related fields.

隨著許多企業成功地規劃管理供應鏈使得製造成本顯著地降低，多數企業明確認知運用供應鏈管理，創造一個環環相扣與相互依存的企業網，已經成為21世紀重要的一環。本學期計畫以「供應鏈管理」為主題，舉辦四場演講，分享在兩岸企業目前對於供應鏈管理實務的推動與理論的研究。希望此系列的演講，可以使學生有機會接觸供應鏈管理發展的新趨勢。

As many companies have successfully planned and managed supply chains, resulting in significant reductions in manufacturing costs, most companies have clearly recognized that using supply chain management to create an interlocking and interdependent corporate network has become an important part of the 21st century. This semester plans to hold four lectures with the theme of "Supply Chain Management" to share the current promotion and theoretical research of supply chain management practices in enterprises on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. It is hoped that this series of lectures will give students the opportunity to be exposed to new trends in the development of supply chain management.
