轉譯醫學, 主要是一門銜接臨床疾病和基礎醫學科學研究的一門課 。 由於人類基因體計畫的完成, 課程會探討人類後基因體時代, 生物資訊 所帶給人類醫療研究的幫助與衝擊。此課程結合基礎的醫學研究與病人的臨床診治。分為研究疾病的病理機制、疾病所出現的生物標記、致病的分子途徑、幹細胞生物學、組織工程、醣蛋白研究、新的診斷治療方式,以及特定藥物的開發等等,並以後基因體時代來進行個體化(personalized) 的治療等等方向的文獻選讀。讓學生對 新的 臨床應用醫學研究領域有更深一層的了解。Translational medicine is mainly a course that connects clinical diseases and basic medical research. Due to the completion of the Human Genome Project, the course will explore the help and impact of bioinformatics on human medical research in the post-genome era. This course combines basic medical research with clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients. It is divided into studies on the pathological mechanisms of diseases, biomarkers of diseases, pathogenic molecular pathways, stem cell biology, tissue engineering, glycoprotein research, new diagnostic and therapeutic methods, and the development of specific drugs, etc., and will be followed by genetic engineering. In this era, we will carry out literature selection in the direction of personalized treatment and so on. Provide students with a deeper understanding of new clinically applied medical research areas.
