介紹最近在物理化學領域較為被重視或積極發展的課題，經由技術與理論基礎的說明，瞭解物理化學的新概念、新理論和新實驗方法，並闡述其在環境、能源、產業、生化、材料科技中之應用與重要性，希使博士班學生能夠對現代物理化學的研究方向有所瞭解，認識創新性、系統性和有深度的研究，對未來物理化學領域研究發展能夠有較明確認識和掌握。

現代物理化學特論主要課程是針對目前的較的重要發展領域，在不同的研究專題，如物理化學在生化、材料、催化反應、動力學上的應用，奈米材料的物理和化學性質研究，光譜在光化學反應的研究與應用等，先介紹研究背景、理論基礎，再以近期文獻為教材介紹目前的發展狀況相關應用研究。

Introducing the recent topics that are more valued or actively developed in the field of physics and chemistry. Through technical and theoretical basic explanations, we will understand the new concepts, new theories and new experimental methods of physics and chemistry, and describe its application and importance in environment, energy, industry, biochemistry, and materials technology. We hope that doctoral students can understand the research direction of modern physics and chemistry, understand innovativeness, systemicity and in-depth research, and have a clear understanding and mastery of future research and development in the field of physics and chemistry.

The main courses of modern physical and chemical characteristics are to highlight the current important development areas, in different research topics, such as the application of physics and chemistry in biochemistry, materials, catalytic reactions, and dynamics, the study of physics and chemical properties of nanomaterials, and the research and application of photonics in photochemical reactions, etc. First introduce the research background and theoretical basis, and then use recent literature to introduce the current application research related to the development status as textbooks.
