教育目標 Course Target

This course provides students some important notions and study methodology in the field of Ethnomathematics. It will inquire the mathematical and cultural implications of the traditional buildings from a perspective of advanced geometry including affine geometry, projective geometry, differential geometry and knot theory etc. Investigating the links between geometry and people’s religious beliefs, social culture, and living environment are also topics in this course, together with studying their applications in mathematics education.This course provides students some important notions and study methodology in the field of Ethnomathematics.
