《理想國》(Republic,又譯《國家篇》)是西洋哲學重要的經典著作,其中涉及的課題涵蓋正義、教育、善、存有論、靈魂、藝術等等,影響至今。本課程希望透過文本研讀,研讀《理想國》(Republic,又譯《國家篇》),瞭解柏拉圖重要的哲學思維:正義和國家的起源,善和理型論,存有與存有層級,可見世界和可知世界的區分,教育的本質、哲人王教育與今天的教育問題。"Republic" (Republic, also translated as "The Country") is an important classic work of Western philosophy. It covers topics such as justice, education, goodness, ontology, soul, art, etc., and its influence continues to this day. This course hopes to understand Plato's important philosophical thinking through text study of "Republic" (also translated as "The State"): the origin of justice and the state, the theory of goodness and ideals, existence and the level of existence. It can be seen that The distinction between the world and the knowable world, the nature of education, the education of the philosopher king and today's educational issues.
