孟子的倫理思維和康德的倫理思維十分貼近。在孟子的義利之辯與康德的義務論而言，在型態上是一致的，此是相同之處，但也有其精細的不同點。本課程是做一比較，再旁及於宋明理學及儒家的形上學。Mencius's ethical thinking is very close to Kant's ethical thinking. Mencius's debate on justice and benefit and Kant's deontology are consistent in form. This is the similarity, but there are also subtle differences.
