文學是精煉的語言文字藝術，表現了人類文明最璀璨的一頁。義大利小說家安伯托‧艾可(Umberto Eco)說過：「建構一個由無數事件與人物組成的世界，無法鉅細靡遺，面面俱到，只能提示，然後由讀者自行去填滿所有的縫隙。每一個文本，就像我以前寫過的，都是部疏懶的機器，要求讀者也分擔部分工作。」一部完美的作品，少了讀者的閱讀，實在無法堪稱完整。拜科技之賜，訊息騰捷的結果卻剝奪了人們靜心閱讀的樂趣，反而使得芸芸眾生迷失於浩瀚的數位汪洋，輕易被枝節的訊息海浪所淹沒。
本課程期許學員優遊於文學之際，能夠以個體生命重返生活場域，恣意徜徉文學場景，再現作家之筆於足下。探索生命真諦之餘，終能圓滿回歸心靈原鄉。本課程計有三個單元，包含家(認同、成長)、史(詠史、敘事)、賞(詠物、品味)等主題，配合單元主題施以個人習作與分組報告，誘發自我學習與創作的動力，建構人我之間的良好溝通渠道。

Literature is the refined art of language and writing, expressing the most brilliant page of human civilization. Italian novelist Umberto Eco once said: "Constructing a world composed of countless events and characters cannot be exhaustive and comprehensive. It can only prompt, and then the readers can fill in all the gaps on their own. Every text, like what I have written before, is a lazy machine, requiring readers to share part of the work." A perfect work cannot be called complete without the reading of the reader. Thanks to technology, the speed of information has deprived people of the pleasure of reading quietly. Instead, all living beings have been lost in the vast digital ocean, easily drowned by the waves of irrelevant information.
This course hopes that students can travel freely in literature, return to the field of life with their individual lives, wander around literary scenes at will, and reproduce the author's pen with just one step. After exploring the true meaning of life, you can finally return to your spiritual homeland satisfactorily. This course is divided into three units, including themes such as family (identity, growth), history (singing history, narrative), and appreciation (singing objects, taste). Individual exercises and group reports are carried out in accordance with the unit themes, stimulating the motivation of self-learning and creation, and building good communication channels between people and ourselves.

　　本校大一中文課程名稱為「文學欣賞與實用」（一般班）與「文學閱讀與寫作」（加強寫作班），奠基於培養文學素養的基礎上，因應各學院學科屬性之不同，以及面對職場的多元需求，將課程內容規畫為四大方向：
A. 經典閱讀：針對各學院系學科屬性，擇選相應之文本進行閱讀與討論。
B. 溝通表達：藉由各式課程活動，提昇學生的書面寫作與口語表達之能力。
C. 場域連結：透過文本的閱讀與書寫，引導學生思索「自我」與社會的橫向連結。
D. 文本實踐：將文本閱讀與日常生活進行連結，付諸書寫與創作。
　　未來四大模組可依學院系性質、任課教師專長、以及學生興趣與需求，配搭出不同模組之組合，供學生多元學習。

The freshman Chinese courses at our school are titled "Literary Appreciation and Practicality" (General Class) and "Literary Reading and Writing" (Enhanced Writing Class). Based on the cultivation of literary literacy, in response to the different subject attributes of each college and in the face of the diverse needs of the workplace, the course content is planned into four major directions:
A. Classic reading: Select corresponding texts for reading and discussion based on the subject attributes of each college and department.
B. Communication and Expression: Improve students’ written writing and oral expression abilities through various course activities.
C. Field connection: Through the reading and writing of texts, students are guided to think about the horizontal connection between "self" and society.
D. Text practice: connect text reading with daily life, and put it into writing and creation.
In the future, the four major modules can be combined with different modules according to the nature of the college and department, the expertise of the teachers, and the interests and needs of the students to provide students with diversified learning.
