戲劇治療是運用戲劇與劇場的媒材、活動及技術,從事於身心治療的目標和方式。 「戲如人生、人生如戲」,在戲劇活動中進行情境創造與角色扮演等,可以探索及表達各種社會情境、人格角色、人際關係與生命經驗,增強生活角色及身心功能的演練、適應和療癒。 戲劇治療師運用多元媒材、扮演活動及戲劇歷程,協助案主改變與成長,去探索表達心理困擾、創傷經驗、抒解情緒、重整思想、修正行為和演練技巧等,以促進和維持身心適應與健康。
本課程主旨在講授戲劇治療的基礎理論、操作技術、核心歷程、實施媒材、特殊族群的工作應用與案例研討等,並配合戲劇媒材活動進行實務操作演練,包括肢體、故事、偶類、角色、面具等;以及引導學生運用自身生命故事進行自傳劇創作及展演;此外引導學生設計戲劇治療教案,並在課堂上操作演練,最後撰寫期末書面報告統整學習歷程。
