課程內涵希望修課的學生運用圖書館成為知識累積的基地,培養在圖書資訊方面的能力,了解學術倫理的規範。
課程針對圖書館的定位來規劃。圖書館絕對不能捨的,參考英國科學家培根所寫短文《論學問》(Of Studies),留下了傳誦幾世紀的眾多嘉言,最有名的一句是:「Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man.」我認定圖書館的基本功能就是Reading、Conference、Writing(廣泛閱讀以增知識,同儕切磋以焠煉辯才,下筆為文培養精確表達能力)。各項活安排應以這三者為優先,其他活動(如展覽、訓練)則搭配著,有助於這三者。
分成圖書利用素養主題(A類)、圖書館主題(B類)、資訊及數位能力主題(C類)、學術倫理主題(D類)、AI(E類)等五大領域。
本課程沒有考試,透過寫心得、寫報告、完成作業來展現學習成果,也可以更積極參加聆聽演講、參加書籍整理了解圖書製作。
The connotation of the course hopes that students taking the course will use the library to become a base for knowledge accumulation, cultivate their abilities in library information, and understand the norms of academic ethics.
The course is planned according to the positioning of the library. The library must never be left behind. Refer to the short essay "Of Studies" written by the British scientist Bacon, which left many good words that have been passed down for centuries. The most famous one is: "Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready" man; and writing an exact man." I believe that the basic functions of a library are Reading, Conference, and Writing (extensive reading to increase knowledge, peer discussion to refine eloquence, and writing to cultivate accurate expression skills). All activities should be arranged with these three as priority, and other activities (such as exhibitions and training) should be coordinated to help these three.
It is divided into five major areas: book utilization literacy theme (Category A), library theme (Category B), information and digital competency theme (Category C), academic ethics theme (Category D), and AI (Category E).
There is no exam in this course. You can demonstrate your learning results by writing experiences, writing reports, and completing assignments. You can also actively participate in listening to lectures, organizing books, and learning about book production.
