本課程是希望透過自由民主在台灣施行的經驗,瞭解落實公民文化的成就與困境。在方法上是從歷史的回溯,梳理自由民主社會的發展的軌跡,其中包括各種思潮與治理制度的變遷,二方面是人權保障的「進」(人權保障的落實)與「退」(人權保障遭逢的困境)。期望學生可以深入理解當代各種主義的機會與限制,作為我國持續推動自由民主發展的知識基礎。This course hopes to understand the achievements and difficulties of implementing civil culture through the experience of liberal democracy in Taiwan. The method is to look back at history and sort out the development trajectory of a liberal democratic society, including the changes in various ideological trends and governance systems.
