期望學生明瞭如何以西方現代生命科學的角度解釋生物的新陳代謝,以及認識科學精神與學習態度,並培養科學思考能力。以機械、物質與化約的觀念講述生物如何表現新陳代謝,並藉由問答方式期望學生參與講述過程。Students are expected to understand how to explain biological metabolism from the perspective of modern Western life sciences, understand the scientific spirit and learning attitude, and develop scientific thinking abilities. It uses the concepts of mechanics, matter and reduction to describe how organisms express metabolism, and expects students to participate in the narration process through question and answer methods.
