3050 - 人文:閩南文化 An Introduction to Min-Nan(Southern Fukien/ Fujian) Culture


教育目標 Course Target

臺灣位處亞洲大陸與太平洋的銜接處,歷史上有許多不同族群遷居此地,這些移民尤以來自福建漳泉兩府的閩南人為最多,因而閩南文化構成今日臺灣多元文化社會的重要一環。閩南文化雖以中原文化為主體,卻富含明顯的邊緣型態,形塑閩南人冒險犯難,勇於向外發展的特質,而能在海外華商網絡的建構中,扮演重要角色。本課程將從歷史脈絡中追溯閩南文化的淵源與特質,進而分析探討閩南人的社經發展與海外移殖的歷史,以提升學生對於構成臺灣多元文化一環之閩南文化的認知,引導學生以小見大,除增進對臺灣多元文化的認知,也能更深入探索內在自我與領會人類文明的深層價值,且能培養學生尊重、欣賞多元文化的能力。Taiwan is located at the junction of the Asian mainland and the Pacific Ocean. Historically, many different ethnic groups have immigrated here. Among these immigrants, the majority are the Hokkien people from Zhangquan Prefecture in Fujian. Therefore, the Hokkien culture forms an important part of Taiwan's multicultural society today. Although the culture of southern Fujian is dominated by the culture of the Central Plains, it is rich in obvious marginal patterns, which shape the characteristics of southern Fujian people who take risks and have the courage to develop outwards, and can play an important role in the construction of overseas Chinese business networks. This course will trace the origins and characteristics of Southern Fujian culture from the historical context, and then analyze and discuss the socio-economic development of the Southern Fujian people and the history of overseas immigration, in order to enhance students' understanding of the Southern Fujian culture that forms part of Taiwan's multiculturalism, and guide students to Seeing the big picture not only enhances the understanding of Taiwan's multiculturalism, but also enables students to more deeply explore their inner selves and understand the deep values ​​of human civilization. It also cultivates students' ability to respect and appreciate multiculturalism.
