This course aims to train students' basic AI programming skills with Python. By using AI technologies with many case studies, students can understand how to implement machine learning, deep learning and neural networks theories to real cases. Students can also learn how to use CAD software, AutoCAD, in product design and development. Graphics and AI technologies can be combined in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) for digital media animation applications. Arduino in software and hardware is introduced in learning by doing for projects.
The connotation of the course includes three major parts: (1) Basic programming skills with Python in various case studies, including features (patterns) detection and recognition, web crawler …etc. (2) Using engineering drawing model software, AutoCAD to create engineering features. Introducing VR & AR to visualize the model parts. (3) Linking both software programming with hardware in project design with Arduino.
