本課程為產品語意學之延伸實作課程。課程架構銜接產品語意學之規劃,初期為與亦學之理論學習,後進行產品設計實作專題演練。演練著重於完成一設計提案、設計發想、產品製作,並完成一設計作品。透過實作之演練使學生能更好的運用理論知識,並急合作中學之理念,有效的使學生掌握設計之內容。This course is an extended practical course of product semantics. The course structure is connected with the planning of product semantics. The initial stage is theoretical study with Yixue, and then there is a special practice on product design implementation. The exercise focuses on completing a design proposal, design ideas, product production, and completing a design work. Through practical exercises, students can better apply theoretical knowledge and cooperate with the concepts of middle school to effectively master the content of design.
產品語意學乃是研究人造物的形態,在使用情境中的象徵特性,並應用此這知識於工業設計上。本課程除理論講述造型與符號應用之關係,更重要的是讓學生得以進行實務演練。設計師除了能透過想法進行符號轉化抽象的概念,為更需要項概念轉化為實體,如此作為一個設計師才能賦予產品造形意義與價值。因此做為產品主要的設計與推手(設計專業者),掌握產品意義是必要的。
本課程之目標,及搭配元課程進行理論的實踐,使學生能具有賦予產品造型上的意義的能力。更重要的是使學生於產品的設計過程,特別是對於型態的表達與應用,可以進行有意義的表徵萃取於應用。產品做為媒介與器物應該真實的反應其產品的特性與意涵,以此連結使用者。因此本課程的目標即在於有系統的引導學生,使學生能明確的思考與探討與產品造形表徵的呈現方式。
Product semantics is the study of the form of artificial objects and their symbolic properties in use situations, and the application of this knowledge to industrial design. This course not only theoretically explains the relationship between modeling and symbol application, but more importantly, allows students to conduct practical exercises. In addition to being able to transform abstract concepts into symbols through ideas, designers also need to transform concepts into entities. Only in this way can a designer give meaning and value to product shapes. Therefore, as the main designer and promoter of a product (design professional), it is necessary to grasp the meaning of the product.
The goal of this course, as well as the theoretical practice in conjunction with the meta-course, is to enable students to have the ability to give meaning to product styling. What is more important is to enable students to carry out meaningful characterization extraction and application in the product design process, especially the expression and application of forms. As media and utensils, products should truly reflect the characteristics and meaning of the product to connect users. Therefore, the goal of this course is to guide students systematically so that students can clearly think and discuss the presentation methods of product shape representation.
