本課程為產品語意學之延伸實作課程。課程架構銜接產品語意學之規劃,初期為與亦學之理論學習,後進行產品設計實作專題演練。演練著重於完成一設計提案、設計發想、產品製作,並完成一設計作品。透過實作之演練使學生能更好的運用理論知識,並急合作中學之理念,有效的使學生掌握設計之內容。This course is an extended practice course for product language learning. The course structure is based on the planning of product language learning. In the early stage, we learn theory and also study theories, and then carry out product design practice. The practice focuses on completing a design proposal, design concept, product production, and completing a design work. Through practical practice, students can better use theoretical knowledge and urgently cooperate with the concept of learning, effectively allowing students to master the design content.
產品語意學乃是研究人造物的形態,在使用情境中的象徵特性,並應用此這知識於工業設計上。本課程除理論講述造型與符號應用之關係,更重要的是讓學生得以進行實務演練。設計師除了能透過想法進行符號轉化抽象的概念,為更需要項概念轉化為實體,如此作為一個設計師才能賦予產品造形意義與價值。因此做為產品主要的設計與推手(設計專業者),掌握產品意義是必要的。
本課程之目標,及搭配元課程進行理論的實踐,使學生能具有賦予產品造型上的意義的能力。更重要的是使學生於產品的設計過程,特別是對於型態的表達與應用,可以進行有意義的表徵萃取於應用。產品做為媒介與器物應該真實的反應其產品的特性與意涵,以此連結使用者。因此本課程的目標即在於有系統的引導學生,使學生能明確的思考與探討與產品造形表徵的呈現方式。
Product language is to study the shape of man-made objects, the symbolic characteristics in the use situation, and to apply this knowledge to industrial design. This course dissertation discusses the relationship between styling and symbol application, and more importantly, allows students to practice. In addition to being able to transform abstract concepts through ideas, designers need to transform concepts into a physical body. Only by being a designer can the product shape concept and value. Therefore, as the main designer and promoter of the product (designer), it is necessary to master the meaning of the product.
The goals of this course and the practical analysis of the meta-course can enable students to have the ability to give product styling meanings. More importantly, students can intentionally extract expression and application in product design process, especially in the expression and application of the model. The product should truly reflect the characteristics and meaning of its product as a medium and utensil to connect users. Therefore, the purpose of this course is to guide students systematically so that students can think clearly and explore the presentation of product shape and expression.
