建築學是一門理論與實踐並重的科目,優秀建築師的工作該有自己核心哲學,透過建築實踐去驗證思考。基於地域文化關係,我們不難發現東西方建築師對空間,材料運用的差異性,如果需要理解一位建築師的作品,我們就要從他們的出生地,教育與工作經歷去研究與分析。
本課程的目標是學習建築作品研究方法,透過研究去分析與歸納當代代表建築師的核心理念,最後再運用這些理念去完成一些出版與空間創作。
課程可分為三個階段:研究-分析-創作
研究:透過分組安排,每組同學會研究一位建築師的背景與工作,總結出核心理念與精神。
分析:透過案例分析,利用圖紙、圖像去分析建築師作品,當中包括結構、人行流線、空間比例與材料設計等。
創作:每組同學根據研究的建築師出發,利用研究成果於校園內設計一個小空間去展示海報與出版物等。
透過課程,一方面可以基本認識世界當代主流建築師的設計哲學,也同時為同學們未來畢業後的工作方向提供思考。
Architecture is a subject that pays equal attention to theory and practice. The work of a good architect should have its own core philosophy and verify its thinking through architectural practice. Based on regional cultural relations, it is not difficult for us to discover the differences in the use of space and materials by Eastern and Western architects. If we need to understand an architect's work, we must study and analyze it from their birthplace, education and work experience.
The goal of this course is to learn the research methods of architectural works, analyze and summarize the core concepts of contemporary representative architects through research, and finally use these concepts to complete some publications and space creations.
The course can be divided into three stages: Research-Analysis-Creation
Research: Through group arrangements, each group of students will study the background and work of an architect and summarize the core concepts and spirit.
Analysis: Through case analysis, use drawings and images to analyze architects' works, including structure, pedestrian circulation, spatial proportions and material design, etc.
Creation: Based on the researched architects, each group of students used the research results to design a small space on campus to display posters and publications.
Through the course, on the one hand, you can have a basic understanding of the design philosophy of the world's contemporary mainstream architects, and at the same time, it can provide students with ideas for their future work directions after graduation.
