教育目標 Course Target

東海大學深碗型課程的目標及精神在於使學生有更多的自主學習空間,培養較高層次的學習與實作能力。中國建築史(一)實作課程依循此精神規畫動手實作的內容,搭配中國建築史(一)的講授課程同步進行。 中國建築史(一)為建築史學領域的入門課程,由於課程內容涉及史學研究的基本理論、知識論、方法論,再加上早期建築史只能透過建築考古復原來理解、有其抽象成份,部份學生在學習方面面臨較大的困難。本實作課程意在解決此問題,提升學習成效。學生們將藉由教師指定案例的深度專題報告、實體及數位模型建構,以更物質性、更為具體的方式認識、分析重要的建築典例(本實作課程之內容圍繞特定傳統經典建築之專題研究與實體及數位模型建構,本學期預計以台灣中部地區的傳統建築案例為主)。 依據深碗型課程的目標,修習本課程的學生需要額外花時間努力,並提出具體學習成果,包括:1. 指定案例的專題研究報告;2. 實體及數位模型建構、分析性動畫製作;3. 古蹟/歷史建築修復現場參訪心得。 本課程將循序漸進,分為以下幾個階段來進行:1. 專題報告之案例選擇、資料收集與研讀(教師將提供研究資料,供學生實地觀察、學習使用);2. 實體及數位模型建構、分析性動畫製作(前置準備工作包括分析空間配置、各構件形狀、尺寸、材質、組構關係……等)。以上實作內容將由學生分組進行,並於約定的時間與授課教師討論、修正、深化對案例的研討。3. 本實作課程特別安排古蹟/歷史建築修復現場的參訪(這是本學期特殊的機緣與資源)。屆時將參訪的地點包括:(a) 潭子國小日式宿舍(歷史建築)、潭子鄉農會穀倉(市定古蹟);(b) 臺中州廳(國定古蹟);臺中市役所(歷史建築);(c) 臺中刑務所典獄官舍(市定古蹟)、浴場(市定古蹟)、官舍群(歷史建築)、演武場(歷史建築)等。確切時程、集合地點待於〈中國建築史(一)〉課堂公告。The goal and spirit of Tunghai University's deep-bowl courses are to give students more space for independent learning and to cultivate higher-level learning and practical abilities. The practical course of Chinese Architectural History (I) follows this spirit in planning the hands-on content and is conducted simultaneously with the teaching course of Chinese Architectural History (I). Chinese Architectural History (1) is an introductory course in the field of architectural history. Since the course content involves the basic theories, epistemology, and methodology of historical research, and the early architectural history can only be understood through architectural archaeological restoration, it has its abstract elements. Many students face greater difficulties in learning. This practical course is intended to solve this problem and improve learning effectiveness. Students will understand and analyze important architectural examples in a more material and concrete way through in-depth special reports and physical and digital model construction of cases designated by teachers (the content of this practical course focuses on specific traditional classic buildings) Special topic research and physical and digital model construction, this semester is expected to focus on traditional architectural cases in central Taiwan). According to the goals of the Deep Bowl course, students taking this course need to spend extra time and effort and propose specific learning outcomes, including: 1. Special research reports on designated cases; 2. Physical and digital model construction and analytical animation production; 3 . Experience of visiting monuments/historic building restoration sites. This course will be conducted step by step and divided into the following stages: 1. Case selection, data collection and study of special reports (teachers will provide research materials for students to observe and learn on the spot); 2. Construction of physical and digital models, Analytical animation production (preparatory work includes analysis of spatial configuration, shape, size, material, structural relationship of each component...etc.). The above practical content will be carried out by students in groups, and they will discuss, revise and deepen the case study with the instructor at the agreed time. 3. This practical course specially arranges visits to the restoration sites of monuments/historic buildings (this is a special opportunity and resource this semester). The places that will be visited include: (a) Tanzi Elementary School Japanese-style Dormitory (historic building), Tanzi Township Farmers Association Barn (city-designated historic site); (b) Taichung State Office (nationally designated historic site); Taichung City Hall (historic building) Building); (c) Taichung Penal Service Prison Warden’s Building (city-designated historic site), bathhouse (city-designated historic site), official residence group (historic building), martial arts arena (historic building), etc. The exact timetable and meeting place will be announced in the "History of Chinese Architecture (1)" class.


課程概述 Course Description

中國的歷史悠久,幅員廣闊,中國建築史的內容,大致上可分為脈絡式與主題式的兩種討論方式,脈絡式的講述著重建築歷史過程的演變;主題式則針對特定的建築主題來加以探討。中國建築史(一)以中國傳統建築為講授對象,是以主題式做為架構,針對特定的建築主題進行脈絡式的講授,希望藉由實物介紹與探討,除了加深同學對傳統建築的認知之外,並希望增加傳統建築的鑑賞力:由建築欣賞出發,藉由建築景觀、尺度控制、藝術風格等的觀察,培養個人鑑賞力及設計能力,開啟對傳統建築之關懷與研究興趣。
China has a long history and a vast territory. The content of the history of Chinese architecture can be roughly divided into two discussion methods: contextual and thematic. The contextual narrative focuses on the evolution of the historical process of architecture; thematic narrative focuses on specific architectural themes. be discussed. History of Chinese Architecture (1) takes traditional Chinese architecture as the teaching object, uses the theme as the framework, and provides context-based teaching on specific architectural themes. It is hoped that through the introduction and discussion of physical objects, it will not only deepen students' understanding of traditional architecture. In addition, we hope to increase the appreciation of traditional architecture: starting from architectural appreciation, through the observation of architectural landscape, scale control, artistic style, etc., we can cultivate personal appreciation and design capabilities, and start caring for and researching interests in traditional architecture.
