3. 培養閱讀外文學術文章之能力。「世界音樂」一詞，常用來指稱世界各民族的傳統音樂。這些音樂在聲音形式上各具特色，並且與其社群文化具有密不可分的關連。但是這些「傳統」並非恆常不變。當科技日新月異，政治與經濟板塊變動頻仍，隨著生活形態的改變，音樂與隨之變化。近幾年來，民族音樂學界為了突顯出當今文化「變遷」的動態，將關注角度從音樂與文化間的靜態關連，轉而強調音樂與所屬社群、時空之間的關係，形成「聲景」(Soundscape)的概念。本課程第一部份將採用「聲景」理念，說明音樂與社群之間的多樣關係，不僅反映出社群的變遷，也探討不同類型音樂間的相互滲透與影響。第二部份則回到古典音樂與流行音樂領域，以重新審視主流音樂文化與異文化間複雜又多樣的互動關係。1. 3. Develop the ability to read academic articles in foreign languages. The term "world music" is often used to refer to the traditional music of various ethnic groups around the world. These musics are unique in sound form and are inextricably linked to the culture of their communities. But these "traditions" are not permanent. As technology advances rapidly, political and economic sectors change frequently, and as lifestyles change, music changes accordingly. In recent years, in order to highlight the dynamics of today's cultural "changes", ethnomusicology has shifted its focus from the static relationship between music and culture to emphasizing the relationship between music and its community, time and space, forming a "soundscape" (Soundscape) concept. The first part of this course will adopt the concept of "soundscape" to explain the diverse relationships between music and community. It not only reflects the changes in the community, but also explores the mutual penetration and influence of different types of music. The second part returns to the fields of classical music and pop music to re-examine the complex and diverse interactive relationships between mainstream music culture and foreign cultures.
