透過本課程的學習,期許學生能在以下面向,對社會工作專業知識與技能有更豐富的積累:
(1) 知識層面:
1) 了解人與環境間的關係,進而學習環境是如何對個人產生影響。
2) 了解不同生命歷程中,個人所可能需要的重要發展目標與困境。
3) 掌握社會工作理論,以期能學習如何辨識個人與環境間的連結與互動。
(2) 專業價值層面
1) 提升學生對不同層面(包含:生理、心理、社會與文化)對個人產生的影響的辨識能力。
2) 認識社會工作如何協助個人、家庭、社區或組織因應環境所帶來的影響。
(3) 專業技巧層面
1) 強化學生的敏感度與文化辨識能力,進而協助學生強化對個人、家庭、團體或社區的關係建立能力,與增進對其的同理與充權能力。
2) 提升學生對社會工作理論的理解,進而協助學生發展社會工作的獨特工作視野,即是能學習辨識個人與其所處環境的連結與互動。
3) 促進學生連結社會工作理論與實務工作介入技巧間的連結與運用能力。本課程,人類行為與社會環境,是一學年的課程,旨在協助學生透過知識性的學習以對複雜的人類行為與經驗有所了解。在本課程中,會從人的生命歷程時間軸出發,逐一講述在不同的生命歷程中,人的行為特徵與可能的重要生命衝擊與事件,及其與環境的關係。另一方面,會透過一系列的理論介紹,協助學生了解個人是如何發展自我及與環境互動。最後會透過實務工作技巧的說明,協助學生增進個人技能,用以在不同狀況下,對個人、家庭、團體或社區提供協助。Through the study of this course, students are expected to have a richer accumulation of social work professional knowledge and skills in the following aspects:
(1) Knowledge level:
1) Understand the relationship between people and the environment, and then learn how the environment affects individuals.
2) Understand the important development goals and dilemmas that individuals may need in different life processes.
3) Master social work theory in order to learn how to identify the connections and interactions between individuals and their environment.
(2) Professional value level
1) Improve students’ ability to identify the impact on individuals at different levels (including: physical, psychological, social and cultural).
2) Understand how social work can help individuals, families, communities or organizations cope with the impacts of the environment.
(3) Professional skills level
1) Strengthen students’ sensitivity and cultural awareness, thereby helping students strengthen their ability to build relationships with individuals, families, groups or communities, and enhance their ability to empathize and empower them.
2) Enhance students’ understanding of social work theory, and then help students develop a unique working perspective of social work, that is, they can learn to identify the connection and interaction between individuals and their environment.
3) Promote students’ ability to connect and apply social work theory and practical work intervention skills. This course, Human Behavior and Social Environment, is a one-year course designed to help students gain an understanding of complex human behavior and experience through intellectual learning. In this course, we will start from the timeline of human life course and describe one by one the behavioral characteristics and possible important life impacts and events in different life courses, as well as their relationship with the environment. On the other hand, through a series of theoretical introductions, students will be helped to understand how individuals develop themselves and interact with the environment. Finally, through the explanation of practical work skills, students will be helped to improve their personal skills to provide assistance to individuals, families, groups or communities in different situations.
人類行為與社會環境是社會工作系的必修課程,作為一個專業的社會工作師必須對人類行為有多元的瞭解。人在情境中是這門課的重要概念。因此一方面要探討人類在發展的不同階段的生理、心理與社會面的重要發展及關鍵性的影響因素及意義,另一方面要觸及與人類因應境有關的重要社會環境。人類在社會環境中有哪些因素是優勢,哪些因素是屬於弱勢或傷害性的元素。人類行為又如何受內在本身因素及外在社會環境因素的影響。我們作為一個社會工作者要如何做一個協助案主適應及滿足需要的中介者。如何協助案主與社會環境中的調適,如何由社會環境中取得資源同時減少社會環境的傷害因素也是這門課包含的重點。藉著理論與實務的整合與介紹,充實學生有瞭解及分析個案的能力並且增進學生做處遇計畫的確實條件是本課程的目標。
Human Behavior and Social Environment is a required course in the Department of Social Work. As a professional social worker, you must have a diverse understanding of human behavior. Person-in-situation is an important concept in this course. Therefore, on the one hand, it is necessary to explore the important physiological, psychological and social developments and key influencing factors and significance of human beings at different stages of development; on the other hand, it is necessary to touch on the important social environment related to human response to the environment. Which factors are advantages for humans in the social environment, and which factors are disadvantages or harmful elements. How human behavior is affected by internal factors and external social environmental factors. How can we, as social workers, be intermediaries who help clients adapt and meet their needs. How to help the client adjust to the social environment, how to obtain resources from the social environment while reducing the harmful factors of the social environment are also the focus of this course. Through the integration and introduction of theory and practice, the goal of this course is to enrich students' ability to understand and analyze cases and to enhance students' practical conditions for making treatment plans.
