西方教育社會學的學門化源自西方社會自身的文化傳統和發展脈絡,而近現代中國則以其面對世界局勢巨變的危機而有自身的教育問題。因此,我們對教育社會學的理解與研究就須關注文化現代化的發展脈絡,既要留意西方理論中的普遍性問題,也要理解自身發展的特殊性。這門課主要選讀中西方在現代化過程中的教育論述、文學以及調查研究報告,幫助同學們對現代教育變遷進行理解、反思與批判,進而以社會學的問題意識來討論台灣的教育議題。
課堂要求:
1.須於上課之前讀完指定閱讀材料。
2.不定時點名,缺課一次扣總成績5分。
The academicization of Western educational society originates from the cultural traditions and developmental ties of Western society itself, while modern China has its own educational problems because it faces the crisis of huge changes in the world situation. Therefore, our understanding and research on educational society should focus on the developmental aspects of cultural modernization, and we should not only pay attention to the universal problems in Western theories, but also understand the particularity of our own development. This course mainly chooses to read educational thesis, literature and research reports of China and the West in the process of modernization, to help students understand, reflect and criticize the changes in modern education, and then discuss Taiwan's educational issues with social problems.
Class requirements:
1. The specified reading materials must be read before the course.
2. If you are not sure when you are not sure, you will deduct 5 points for one missed class.
